If you find that your proxies are not working correctly, the first thing you'll need to check is if your PC/Device IP is authorized in the proxy dashboard. This article will show you how to complete this. 


It is important to understand that authorization for the proxies is required to prevent non-authorized users from being able to use the proxies. It keeps the proxies secure to you. That is why the proxies will not work if you do not authorize correctly. 


There are a few different types of authorization options we provide depending on your use case. Please find the authorization type you need below for instructions.


IP Authorization:

*IP Authorization uses the port 3128 with the proxies. 

  1. Login to Proxy Dashboard HERE 
  2. To find your PC/Device's IP, open a web browser, and click this link: HERE 
  3. Go to Proxy Dashboard, and select 'Via IP', 'HTTP', then enter your IP into the blank box in the screenshot on '2.'. Then click 'Add IP': SCREENSHOT
  4. The proxies will not work for 30 minutes until your IP is authorized. The IP will be added to the system after 30 minutes, and then you will be able to use the proxies. 
  5. Complete! You may then use the proxies as needed.

Username/Password Authorization:

*Username/Password Authorization uses the port 4444 with the proxies.

  1. Login to Proxy Dashboard HERE 
  2. To find your PC/Device's IP, open a web browser, and click this link: HERE 
  3. Go to Proxy Dashboard, and select 'Username/Password': SCREENSHOT
  4. The proxies will not work for 30 minutes until the system changes the authorization type. The authorization type will be adjusted in the system after 30 minutes, and then you will be able to use the proxies. 
  5. Complete! You may then use the proxies as needed.

SOCKS Authorization:

*SOCKS Authorization uses the port 1080 with the proxies. 

  1. Login to Proxy Dashboard HERE 
  2. To find your PC/Device's IP, open a web browser, and click this link: HERE 
  3. Go to Proxy Dashboard, and select 'Via IP', SOCKS', then enter your IP into the blank box in the screenshot on '3.'. Then click 'Add IP': SCREENSHOT
  4. The proxies will not work for 30 minutes until your IP is authorized. The IP will be added to the system after 30 minutes, and then you will be able to use the proxies. 
  5. Complete! You may then use the proxies as needed.
